About Girls Who Code San Jose

The Girls Who Code San Jose Club is a club established in 2014 through the national Girls Who Code Clubs Program. Volunteer teachers (working professionals with a career in technology, or Lynbrook High School students) teach computer science to girls in grades 6 through 8 at Miller Middle School. Subjects that are (or have been) taught include Javascript, HTML and CSS, Python, and SAM Labs.

BLOCK CODING

Scratch/SAM Labs is the introductory group at Girls Who Code. It is a great way to visualize the semantics of your doing through coding blocks and get immediate results. You have the power to build robots, movies, games, and more!
